Common questions
What exactly does the breast ultrasound AI do?
While you scan, it finds breast lesions and masses on the image, outlines and measures them, and suggests a BI-RADS category from the lesion's features.
How does AI help in radiology and ultrasound?
It works like a careful second opinion beside the doctor: it marks the lesion on the ultrasound image as you scan, measures it, suggests a BI-RADS category and prepares the report — faster exams and more consistent reports.
Does it replace the doctor?
No. The AI is the doctor's assistant. Its suggestions are recorded next to the doctor's findings, and the diagnosis and every decision stay with the doctor.
Will it work with our ultrasound machine?
Yes — it works with machines from any brand. AIBox Omnix connects to the machine you already have; nothing needs to change.
How accurate is it?
In independent testing it found more than nine in every ten lesions (93%), and the outline it drew overlapped 84% with the outline drawn by a specialist. Its BI-RADS model identified 95% of malignant lesions.
Does it need the internet?
No. Image analysis, the exam record and the report all happen inside the clinic; whenever you are online, they sync to the online dashboard.
