Tanasa Fibrosis
Liver fibrosis assessment with shear-wave elastography
If you do liver elastography on a SuperSonic Aixplorer, Tanasa Fibrosis makes the report simple: enter the values, pick the study that fits the patient, and get the fibrosis stage and fatty-liver grade in a print-ready report.
No or mild fibrosis
Three steps to the report
- 1
Enter the values
Liver stiffness in kPa and the HRI, ATT, SSP and Vi PLUS indices, all on one form.
- 2
Pick the right study
Cut-offs from published studies are ready, each checked against the original paper, and editable.
- 3
Print the report
Fibrosis stage (F0–F4) and fatty-liver grade (S0–S3) on your clinic's letterhead.
Everything the report needs
Fibrosis and fatty liver
Applying the boundary rule each study defines.
One-page report
On your letterhead, with the Persian calendar, ready to print.

Common questions
How does elastography measure liver fibrosis?
Shear-wave elastography measures liver stiffness in kilopascals — the more fibrosis, the stiffer the liver. The software compares the value with published cut-offs and gives the fibrosis stage from F0 to F4.
How is shear-wave elastography different from FibroScan?
Both measure liver stiffness in kilopascals. FibroScan (transient elastography) has no image; shear-wave elastography is done on the ultrasound image, so the doctor sees where the measurement is taken. The two methods use different cut-offs, and Tanasa Fibrosis uses the ones published for shear-wave elastography.
Does it show fatty liver too?
Yes. From indices such as ATT and HRI, the fatty-liver grade (S0–S3) appears in the report next to the fibrosis stage.
Which machine does it work with?
It is built for SuperSonic Aixplorer elastography results and installs on Windows.
